Welcome to the Capital City Century, presented by the Springfield Bicycle Club. 2024 marks the 52nd edition of this Central Illinois road ride. Mid-September is the perfect time to explore the low-trafficked roads, meet fellow cycling enthusiasts, and challenge yourself on our carefully curated routes. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or a beginner, the Capital City Century has something for everyone. See you at the starting line!

What’s new for 2024?
- Chip Timing by It’s Race Time
- Don’t want a t-shirt? No problem! Shirts are now optional to purchase at registration
- Custom embroidered patch and pint glass to the first 200 registrants
- Event jersey available for purchase at registration
- New location for one of the rest stops

If you rode in the 2023 CCC, you may have crossed paths with the “Pink Chaise”. Word on the street is that this fine piece of furniture will be making an appearance to give riders another opportunity for a memorable photo.
